Poltinmerkki is an industrial metal band from Finland, their style is very reminiscent of the German Metal band Ramstain.

This is Poltinmerkki's first Full-length album in English.

Jernlov returns with ferocity and elegance hand in hand on their sophomore album ‘Resurrection’! Modern melodic black metal weaving elegantly between the brutal and melodic approach to give the listener a carefully crafted and unique experience. The music is reminiscent of 00’s era symphonic black metal from Dimmu Borgir, Cor Scorpii, Antestor and Borknagar, sprinkling a pinch of piano and clean vocals on top of the harsh vocals and cold riffs. The lyrics have a personal character and revolve around themes such as desperation and sorrow, serving as an outlet of frustration during the hardest times in life. Contemplating the solidness of the foundations in our lives, the lyrics are unusually powerful in a genre where lyrics quickly can become bland.

Northern Flame is a melodic metal band from Finland. They have released two demos in 2013 and 2015, and then a full length called a Glimpse of Hope in 2014. That was a very good album by any means. So if this is the first time you have heard of Northern Flame, check out that album immediately, you won't be disappointed. After that, you can listen to the new full-length Twisted Reality.

Most of the members are also involved in the melodic death metal band Hilastherion, also Niclas has a melodic black metal project with the name Parakletos. And between those projects also a band called In Divina, female-fronted metal, also a recommendation. And his guest appearance in Jernlov was in my opinion a very good match. I think the guys are very proud of this release and I will try to explain why I think that.

The album Twisted Reality starts off with the epic and somewhat majestic instrumental song Twisted Reality. It's evidence of good musicianship because with a duration of more than 3 minutes it's, in my opinion, a great thing to start with.
